
Cook Beans on the Stove:
1. Rinse and sort beans. Discard any odd looking beans and rocks.
2. Place beans in bowl covered in 3 inches of water above beans.
Refrigerate overnight.

3. Drain and rinse beans again.
4. Place beans and *water in pot. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer 2-3 hours.
5. Add additional ingredients or put beans in
ziploc bags and freeze up to 6 months.

You can cook a lot of beans at one time and freeze a few cups in individual freezer bags.

2 cups of beans require 10 cups of water

Crockpot Beans:

6. Cook on high 8 hrs. or until tender.
7. Drain beans.
