
INGREDIENTS:
3 c. boiling water
3 c. dried apple slices (or 6 apples, cored and sliced)
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
2 ½ tsp. salt
2 eggs
1/3 c. butter, melted
DIRECTIONS:
1. Pour boiling water over dried apples. Let stand at least 5 minutes. Place apples on bottom of a greased 9x13 pan.
2. In a bowl add flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Pastry blend in 2 eggs. Sprinkle this mixture on the top of the apples.
3. Drizzle butter over top.
4. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes
