How to use Magic Mix:
Make the Magic Mix recipe. Then add the Magic Mix to other ingredients to make gravy and condensed soups.
Magic Mix Recipe:
2 1/3 c. dry powdered milk
1 c. flour or 1/2 c. cornstarch
1 c. (2 sticks) butter, at room temperature
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix with an electric mixer until it looks like cornmeal. Keep mix tightly covered in the fridge for up to 8 months.
Makes 5 cups.
